The marble eyelids are still wet
Almost like a monumental statue set
When I cry I feel the pain
Could feel the adrenalin flowing through my vein
Roam in solitude in my own silent-bare
Under the balancing, vertical eye glare
An everlasting watch and move less woe
Want to shout, run and go
I always try but could not speak
Can’t stop my tears from being leak
There is no one around, full desert ness
I creep like a snail and crave for happiness
When I’m alone my thoughts always hover
I hide my tears weeping in shower
In complete darkness, tears sparkle and shine
I know my tears are precious and only mine

PUBLIC DISPLAY OF AFFECTION
Few days back I read an article in TOI on "public display of affection" in which a married couple was put behind bars and released on bail as they did the crime of kissing each other on a local metro station. Well I really find it ridiculous and miserable incident on our part. The SENA people, which claims to be fighting a cultural war against what it calls WESTERN INFLUENCE. I don't understand what are these people up to………they talk about Indian culture and a decent society, for them a couple holding hands on a street draws more attention than a beggar's body on the side walk. On one hand they talk of women's liberalization at the other side they really feel proud conducting ridiculous activities at public places. The Mangalore incident was really heinous conduct……I mean I really don't understand why do a married couple need a sanction from the rest of the world to share a kiss in public???? Its their life…..their feelings….who are these people to decide what others should do?? One really don't have right to impose his rules to others. According to them Valentine's day has never been a part of Indian culture …..and now they are imposing restrictions on married couples…..this is really SAD!!!!! When did our culture say that we should not celebrate love…….we can celebrate love for our country, our parents, why can't we celebrate love for our partners??? I feel pity because the ordinary people don't take anystand……….
"Generally, we understand tradition in terms of a few conservative texts and the other books which give a more liberal views of our tradition and culture are just taught in patches" ,Well ultimately we common people have to take a stand to win
this culture war but before this, it has to be fought and won in mind

MY STRENGTH
When I started to walk
She gave me her hand
And walked with me through the life
Form strand to strand
When I was afraid of something
He was always by my side
And on his tiny scooter
Every morning he gave me a lovely ride
When I went to school
She tied laces of my shoes
After getting her warm hugs
I forget all my woes
When I used to feel low
He made me feel grow
After telling him a lie
I always hide my face from pillow
When I cross the road
She was there to hold
What is right, what is wrong
Except her no one ever told
When I wanted to watch cinema
He brought me tickets
Everyday in the evening
Both of us played cricket
When I did something wrong
She gave me stern look
Taught me how to behave
And also taught me to cook
When I was nervous before exams
He gave me strength
Because of his faith in me
I topped in tenth
When I did things wrong
She gave me scolding
I wonder how she always knows
And sense the outward thing
When I was in confusion
He was a perfect solution
Always solved my doubts
And cleared my hesitation
She gave me her hand
And walked with me through the life
Form strand to strand

THE MEETING POINT(Continued...)
The 7 hours of joy always stays here in my sight
The sarcastic comments because of my small height
Giggling with him on such silly issues
I wish he would have tied laces of his shoes
The whispering, his warm and unnerved arm
The glowing eyes, and the unending charm
The heavenly silence in the auto rickshaw
O lord! Boys should speak first please make it a law
“PS I LOVE U” was his precious gift
We’ll never separate, nothing can bring a rift
The nurturing love deeps n deep
His uncombed hair is a mysterious keep
The silence and passion, joy and peace
Homogenous mixture of all kept me at ease
The uneasiness prevailing in bus because of sum1’s tobacco smoke
My laughter doubled at his every "POOR JOKE"
The audacity we had dared to own before
I wish I could write something more
He proposed me n wanted to speak a lot
I looked in his eyes, tried to speak but could not :)
