This post is dedicated to all my school friends specially swati because she was the one who instigated me to write this one.so here it is :)
She is someone very special in my life
I met her in school and we became friends for 'The Whole Life'
Down the memory lane when i ponder i recall the chubby school days
Wearing skirts till knees,school tie,belt and and putting house
batches we had our own ways
Getting up at 5 o'clock and boarding the school bus in sleepy condition
Humming the morning prayer aloud "God's love is so wonderful" with
many funny motions
making notes in class was not a manageable task
we just wanted to have fun..was too much to ask?
so one day we frightened out S U P W with a Halloween mask
Girlie chit-chat,sharing notes,thoughts,ideas and Tiffin boxes together
with her i never-ever thought i didnt Have a real sister
Participating in teacher's day function,independence day drill with
her was very jovial
Creating humor out of any damn sentence and in this task we were exordial
Not wearing the boring school dress on B'days and flaunting our new dress
Distributing chocolates and spending time in school canteen and mess
Exchanging little cute cards on new year bash
All these things are still stored somewhere in my memory cache
again a very thoughtful post, ur school friends will be very happy to read this i m sure.
ReplyDeleteTrue..our school days are worth remembering. And yes can't forget laughter of Shilpi..who used to make us also laugh in mid of the class that too just for a sillllyyy reason. Always active in participating school functions specially in solo songs. Once she rocked in resham ka rumaal song and that was justtt awesome. With other activities shilpi was teachers fav also which smtimes made some students including me also jealous..remember PT teacher who used to make us play kho kho and shotput and always used to go her home for free sitting on 1st seat in k10..lolzzzz. And shahana teacher made us make petroleum jelly(process-just vapourise readymade vaseline and mix edible color in that..kya time pass re.

ReplyDeleteSchool was fun.. Isn't it? I remember each and everything.. weather its Anita ma'am and ____ ka romance or our sanskrit teacher rattofying us-- balkh.. balkao.. balkah!!! Remember or physics teacher- going thru some weird operation??lolzzzzz... The love of SUPW ma'am for me..or our totli biology teacher!!
There's a lot in the memory lane ya.. which will remain thr forever.
